There are 3.1 million small businesses in Florida employing 3.6 million individuals.
Over 106,000 new small businesses were opened from March 2021 to March 2022.
Small businesses contributed 60.8% of all new jobs in Florida during that same period.
$7.1 billion in loans were made to Florida businesses with revenues of $1 million or less, and there was $24.8 billion in new loans of $1 million or less during 2021.
Small business exports reached $29.6 billion making up 57.6 of all exports in 2021.
