Hot Topic Tuesday – Great Lakes Lenders Conference Goes Virtual

“Thank you for your support of the conference and small business community. Michigan SBDC has made the difficult decision to transition the Great Lakes Lenders Conference to a virtual format due to the continued risk and uncertainty of the COVID Delta variant in the state of Michigan. This decision was made in order to provide the most valuable experience to conference attendees and sponsors,” says Joshua Marko, the Great Lakes Planning Committee Chair.

“We understand this may raise concerns as many of you rely on face-to-face interactions for your livelihood, which is why we are taking steps to promote your business and involve you throughout the conference in unique ways as documented within our updated Sponsorship Prospectus. As promised within the original sponsorship terms, we are committed to reducing your fees significantly and providing refunds within the next two weeks for the applicable difference.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and are dedicated to working with all sponsors to provide a successful experience with the virtual format. Our conference management team, EventfullyYourz, will be reaching out to you in the coming days to schedule a meeting with you to address any questions or concerns you may have. In the meantime, you can reach out directly to Jennifer Blumig and her team at GLLC@eventfullyyourz.com.”

The conference takes place October 12-14, and you are able to register for the virtual conference here.
