January 3, 2022

By Bob Coleman
Founder, Coleman Publishing

Almost 30 years ago Bob Coleman founded Coleman Publishing with the mission of providing news and data to the SBA lending industry.

The initial publication, “Coleman Report,” was a semi-monthly 8 page publication printed on stock ivory paper and mailed to subscribers. At its peak we were sending out over 500 issues per mailing.

That is how Joseph started with Coleman Publishing. He stuffed, labeled and stamped the newsletter starting in high school.

Today, Joseph Coleman is involved in all facets of the business. He was instrumental in changing Coleman from a newsletter company to an internet-based information, data and training company.

Today’s announcement begins the transition of Coleman Publishing to a second generation family-owned small business. Joseph will be responsible for all content delivered in our different mediums and platforms.

I look forward to the challenge and opportunity of providing the SBA lending community with exceptional, accurate and timely information,” says Joseph Coleman.

Bob Coleman isn’t going anywhere. He’ll retain the title of Publisher and Director of Cash Flow.

100 of the top 100 SBA lenders purchase our reports and data — attend our online training, webinars and summits. Coleman Report is committed to a mission of providing information to train finance professionals as small business lending experts who fund capital to Rural and Main Street America.

Joseph graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in History in 2007. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Jessica.
