• In 2021, banks issued $9.5 billion in loans to businesses with revenues of $1 million or less.
• Total reported new lending through loans of $1 million or less was $31.5 billion.
• Small business exports reached $147.8 billion in 2021.
• Texas small business employment grew by 45.2% between 1996 and 2020, which exceeded the national small business employment growth rate.
