Capital National Bank Names Kerry Williams Director of Government Guaranteed Lending for
Over the past 8 years, Kerry has been a Lending Manager at Wells Fargo SBA Lending and Suntrust SBA Lending. During this time, Kerry has managed credit teams focused on providing small business lending solutions guaranteed by the federal government. His credit teams have funded over $1Billion in federally guaranteed small business loans, while assisting small business owners realize their lifelong dream of profitable small business ownership.
Prior to his time in North Carolina, Kerry worked as a Manager for Huntington Bank in Southeast Michigan, while earning his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Walsh College. Kerry earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Crop and Soil Sciences from Michigan State University, specializing in Golf Course Management.
While maintaining his passion and interest in the golf industry, Kerry also stays active in our communities. He was recently appointed to the Board of Directors at the Capital Area Humane Society, and is passionate about serving underprivileged animals. As the weather warms up, you will likely find Kerry walking his rescue Cairn Terrier (Lucy) throughout East Lansing. Kerry has been an active member in the Episcopal Church for 10 years, and recently joined All Saints Episcopal in East Lansing.
Bank of Southern California Hires Sam Tuyen and Stephen Whang

Sam Tuyen joins Bank of Southern California as Vice President, Commercial Real Estate and SBA Lending and will be responsible for providing SBA and commercial lending solutions to businesses in Southern California. Mr. Tuyen brings twenty years of experience most recently as a Senior Commercial Lender at CDC Small Business Finance in Orange County. He holds degrees in economics and business management from the University of California, Irvine.
Stephen Whang joins the company as Vice President, Business Development Manager and will be responsible for serving the financial needs of businesses and entrepreneurs in Orange County and Los Angeles. He brings a wealth of business lending and relationship management expertise, with more than fifteen years of experience assisting Southern California businesses meet their company’s financial goals. Prior to joining Bank of Southern California, Mr. Whang held a similar role at Bank of the West. He holds a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Los Angeles.
